Our Story

In the heart of Queens, New York, Eric Lunce and Jamal Ingram grew up with the pulse of Hip-Hop and R&B in their veins. Known in the music world as E-Smokex Music and Bankstop DJ Mally G, they were shaped by the park jams, block parties, mixtapes, and the bond of a community that felt like family. Those early days sparked a lifelong connection to the culture that raised them.

Fueled by a love for their borough and the memories that never faded, Eric and Jamal set out to create something that honored where they came from. When they moved to Atlanta, they carried that Queens spirit with them, determined to build a place where people could come together, reminisce, and celebrate their roots.

What began as a single day in the park, of music, food, basketball, and laughter quickly grew into something bigger. Year after year, their vision evolved into Queens Day ATL Weekend, a four-day experience that blends the energy of New York with the vibe of Atlanta.

Today, Queens Day ATL stands as a tribute to the culture that shaped two kids from Queens and a community that continues to inspire them. It’s a celebration of heritage, connection, and the power of bringing people together to share the magic of where it all started.
